From a Single Dions Location to an Albuquerque Icon
It all started in 1978 when the first dion's opened its doors in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Founded on a simple but powerful belief — that great food should be made with fresh, honest ingredients and served to every neighbor who walks through the door — dions quickly became the heartbeat of the local community.
Back then, our founder had one kitchen, one oven, and an unwavering passion for dion's pizza. Word spread fast. Families drove across town just for a slice. What started as a single restaurant grew into something the city could truly call its own.

Today, dions continues that original mission across multiple Albuquerque locations. We still hand-toss our dough, use the same scratch-made sauces, and source ingredients from trusted local and regional suppliers. The faces have changed, but the heart hasn't.
